Journey to Adulthood
Journey to Adulthood is a program developed within the Episcopal Church with a twenty-year history of success. This program, rooted in the Gospel message of Jesus, provides a liturgical framework for the modern teenage experience, celebrates individuality and creativity and offers training in basic life skills. It is divided into two age groups: Rite 13 and J2A. Rite 13, is open to youth in grades 6-8 and meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM and twice per month on Sunday Evenings. The name is taken from a liturgical rite of passage we celebrate with the young people around their 13th birthday. J2A, for youth in grades 9-11, meets every Sunday afternoon at 12:15 PM and twice per month on Sunday evenings. During these two years teens learn to take ownership of their relationship with God through prayer, study, Confirmation and Pilgrimage. In addition, we plan several special events throughout the year, as well as outreach opportunities where we respond to God’s love by sharing that love with our community.

Retreat Programs
As a community of disciples, we recognize the importance of setting aside time in our lives to pray, reflect, and listen. One of the ways that we do this is through our seasonal Parish Retreats which cover a range of spiritual topics, and are lead by members of our parish and by special guests.
